Courtney Roker Laga Gives Birth to Healthy Baby

The TODAY family has officially grown by one, and no one is more thrilled than new grandpa Al Roker. On July 5, 2023, at 6:44 AM PDT, Courtney Roker Laga, Al Roker's daughter whom he adopted with ex-wife Alice Bell, gave birth to a healthy baby. The proud grandfather announced the arrival of his granddaughter on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself holding the newborn with the caption, "Welcome to the world, little one! We are so happy to have you here."

The Today co-host spent the day on July 11 visiting his daughter Courtney Roker. He shared a series of photos of himself spending time with his new granddaughter, writing, "I'm so grateful to be a grandfather. She is perfect in every way."

Roker's granddaughter is his first grandchild. He has three other children: Leila, Nicholas, and Elizabeth.
