Boeing Starliner to Launch for Critical Test Flight

Launch Window Opens at SpaceX's Starbase

WEB Boeing will launch its first-ever Starliner astronaut mission for NASA on a critical test flight to show its capabilities after previous setbacks. The launch will occur at SpaceXs Starbase test site in Boca Chica Texas with a target launch window that opens at 1034 pm EDT 0234 GMT on Tuesday May 7.

WEB The Boeing Starliner spacecraft is designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS). The upcoming test flight will be uncrewed and will aim to demonstrate the spacecraft's ability to safely reach the ISS and return to Earth.

WEB The launch will be conducted by United Launch Alliance (ULA) using an Atlas V rocket. If successful this mission will pave the way for Starliner to begin flying operational missions to the ISS.
