Gareth Southgate has named a provisional 33-man squad for England's upcoming Euro 2024 campaign. The squad includes several new faces, including Crystal Palace defender Eze Wharton.
Wharton, who has been in impressive form for Palace this season, has been rewarded for his performances with a call-up to the national team. He will be hoping to make his debut for England in one of the upcoming friendlies.
Southgate has also included several players who were part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup. These include Harry Kane, Phil Foden, and Jude Bellingham.
The final 26-man squad will be named on June 11th. England will then play two friendlies before their opening Euro 2024 match against Italy on June 16th.
